Bulgaria is situated just above Greece and below Romania. Its Eastern border is the Black Sea coast. Bulgaria has a mixture of mountains, forests, lakes and coast so there is something to suit everyone. Life is very simple, many people living in small towns and villages, using horse and carts as transport. The food is fresh with grilled meats, salad and stews being the favourites.
